Team Survival Science with Clarkson University Beacon Institute of Rivers and Estuaries

Scholars Learn Robotics with LEGOs
Scholars in the NECSD ESYP program have been learning robotics with LEGOS throughout the summer. Scholars have engaged their math, logic, and building skills to create LEGO machines that move!

FACE Team Participates in Community Day
The NECSD Family and Community Engagement team participated in a Community Appreciation Day at Downing Park over the weekend. The team handed out resources, spoke with families, and gave out books.

ESYP Scholars Learn with Harry Potter Theme
During ESYP, Ms. Bonilla's 2nd grade Exceptional Learners class had a Harry Potter themed learning week last week. During our PBL time the class designed and created wands and performed spells (science).

Scholar Athletes and Teams Recognized by NYSPHSAA!
At the end of each sports season, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom.

FALL SPORTS SEASON 2021-2022
Fall sports will begin on Monday August 23, 2021 for Varsity, JV, and Freshman levels. Modified sports will begin on the first day of school, Wednesday, September 1, 2021. You MUST register on FAMILY ID.

As part of the district's Juneteenth celebration, scholars were invited to participate in a poster contest. Posters should inform, reflect, and commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US.
