National Night Out | 2025


National Night Out is a nationwide event that takes place annually on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Additionally, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. 
 
Information about National Night Out events in our area can be found below. NECSD's Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team will be at each event to provide resources for our community!

Town of New Windsor | Tuesday, August 5th from 5pm - 8pm at Kristi Babcock Park
City of Newburgh | Tuesday, August 5th from 5pm - 8pm on Broadway from Johnston Street to Liberty Street 
Town of Newburgh | Tuesday, August 5th from 6pm - 8pm at Cronomer Park (Powder Mill Road)

Town of New Windsor:

Our National Night Out campaign has a goal of promoting positive police-community relations and will focus on building relationships with New Windsor youth. Our event is scheduled to run on Tuesday, August 5th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park, 660 Mt. Airy Rd., New Windsor, NY, 12553.  The event will include games, music and a bar-b-que.  Everything will be free for attendees, and we anticipate a couple thousand people to attend from the Town of New Windsor area. 

Free Family Fun includes:
- Bounce Houses
- Fire Responder Field Games
- K-9 Demonstration
- Fire Trucks
- BBQ, Ice Cream and More!

City of Newburgh:

Join City of Newburgh officials and the City of Newburgh Police Department for the annual National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. National Night Out will take place on Broadway, between Johnston Street & Liberty Street.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. This year's National Night Out promises to be a fun-filled, family-centered evening featuring music, games, food, community resources and more. The Police Department will also be on the scene actively engaging with the community. We encourage all residents to come out and join us for this special event.
