Throughout my time as Superintendent, I have remained deeply committed to collaboration and community voice as we take steps forward, together.

Our annual Trunk-or-Treat event is on October 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS). All NECSD students and families are welcome!

Students explored the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latin communities through storytelling, classroom discussions, sampling cultural foods during special events and created vibrant artwork inspired by Kahlo-Viva la Vida.

This is a friendly reminder the the NECSD will be participating in a county-wide early dismissal drill this week. All schools will dismiss 15 minutes early on Friday, October 10th.

Schools throughout the district will be visited by Fire Departments to provide vital, age-appropriate fire safety education to students. These interactive sessions aim to teach children not to fear firefighters but to view them as community helpers,
