More than 100 families received turkeys and essential food items to ensure they are supported throughout the winter break.

The winter concert at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS) was a celebration of student creativity and talent, featuring performances by the chorus, band, and orchestra and art displays.

Our Custodial, Buildings & Grounds, and Maintenance teams continue working behind the scenes to keep our 16 schools and district buildings safe, functional, and ready for return.

All NECSD schools and district offices are closed Tuesday, December 23rd due to inclement weather. The district will remain closed for winter break and will reopen on Monday, January 5th.

This is a friendly reminder that the district is closed from Wednesday, December 24th until Friday, January 2nd for Winter Recess. All schools and district offices will reopen on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
