The Competitive Cheerleading team competed in their first competition at Minisink Valley High School. They placed in the top three in the small varsity division.

Youth Development Survey for Grades 8, 10, and 12
NECSD will be partnering with TEAM Newburgh to administer a voluntary anonymous survey for students in grades 8, 10, and 12 to learn more about student’s perception of drug use and availability within their communities.

Passing of a Student | Jett James Diaz
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jett Diaz. Jett was a student at Newburgh Free Academy and an avid baseball fan. Last year, our community came out in droves to celebrate and support Jett as he battled cancer.

The NFA Varsity Football Team won 10 consecutive games as well as the Section 9 Class AA Title in order to become a contender for the NYSPHSAA Football Championship Title.

PSA | Free Bus Fare Program in Newburgh
Free bus fares will be available to anyone looking for a ride during the program period, from December 15, 2022 - April 1, 2023. The county estimates roughly 30,000 trips will be covered as a result of this funding.
