These NFA musicians scored in the top 1% of music students within Orange, Ulster, Rockland, Sullivan and Greene counties at their audition for New York State School Music Association's (NYSSMA) Area All State.

NFA Athletes Compete in Special Olympics Hudson Valley Bowling Event
Newburgh Free Academy students competed in the Special Olympics Hudson Valley Bowling event. The athletes came away with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, but mostly had a wonderful time highlighting their abilities.

NFA Youth Activation Committee Teach Golf Skills to Peers
Hosted at the Powelton Club in Newburgh, NFA students joined together to teach and learn the game of golf. Members of the NFA Golf team taught their peers basic skills to begin their journey through the course, developing skills along the way.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Information | Fall 2023
When a student is enrolled in an AP course, it is expected that they will take the subsequent exam in May. To help alleviate any financial burden this may cause, our district will be covering the cost of all AP exams again.
