NFA Alumnus Signs with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL)
Newburgh Free Academy alumnus Angelo Foster has signed with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Foster recently graduated from SUNY Cortland and played football there. Foster was part of the class of 2016.

Scholars Perform in Annual Superintendent's Celebration of the Arts
On February 26, 2020, scholars throughout the district were invited to celebrate the Superintendent's Celebration of the Arts. The annual event rotates it's focus on various arts programs throughout the district. This year, the theme was Theatre.

NFA Key Club Hosts Internation Night
NFA’s Key Club held an International Night at the NFA North Campus on February 28th. They were able to raise over $700 for babies in need within our community.

NFA AF-JROTC Team Earns Five First Place Awards and Named Overall Unarmed Champion
The NFA AF-JROTC team competed at Washington Township, NJ Drill Competition this weekend. The team earned five first place awards, two second place awards, and one third place award.

Five NFA Girls Varsity Indoor Track Athletes Headed to States
NFA Girls Varsity Indoor Track Team is headed to the New York State Championship meet. Five athletes will be competing in a series of events. The NFA Girls Indoor Track team is coached by Coach Kathi Workman.

NFA JROTC is hosting their 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, February 22nd. There are two sessions beginning at 2pm and 6pm at the Winona Lake Firehouse. The meal includes pasta with meatballs, drinks, salad, and bread.
