The Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services donated some medical supplies to the nursing program at NFA North. The representative from the ambulance corp. was Ashley Doorman, a graduate from the nursing program.

On November 15, 2019 Newburgh Free Academy’s Main Campus hosted the Youth-in-Government Steering Convention and welcomed eleven schools and 250 students, 46 of which were from NFA.

Nearly 400 high school scholars were recognized and celebrated for passing all of their classes for the first quarter. During the celebration, a smaller group was also recognized for having perfect attendance for that same quarter.

Scholars in Ms. Nancy Miller and Ms. Verna Lee’s science class at Newburgh Free Academy North Campus participated in The Great Pumpkin Investigation. The purpose of the overall experiment was to determine if larger pumpkins produce more seeds.
