NECSD Celebrates Pink Night in Honor of Those Who Have Battled Cancer
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District participated in a Pink Night celebration in honor of those who have battled cancer. Participants from several schools lined the track and marched during a pre-game ceremony.

Heritage Middle School: Dads Take Your Child to School Day Sign-Up Information
When fathers play these active roles alongside mothers, children tend to be more confident, earn better grades and exhibit healthier behavior. Dads Take Your Child to School Day is a statewide initiative.

NFA College Information and College Fair Night - October 3, 2019
The night will include and admissions presentation at 5:15pm with information about the admissions process, scholarship information and financial aid. At 6:30pm over 100 colleges will be in attendance for students to meet with.

The NFA Dance Department will perform The Princess and the Frog on Friday, December 6th at 7:00pm and Saturday, December 7th at 2:00pm. Ticket information will be available in October.

Heritage Middle School Welcome 6th Grade Students at Orientation
All middle schools have hosted an orientation event for incoming 6th grade scholars. Each building held unique activities, but all middle schools had the goal of welcoming students to their new school.

The celebration was held at Newburgh Free Academy and welcomed family, friends, and community members to honor the scholars.

Scholars Enjoy Lunch and Legos at Newburgh Free Library
Earlier this week the Newburgh Free Library facilitated a lego station during lunch time. Scholars were able to enjoy their lunch and then spend a few minutes experimenting with architecture and engineering with legos.
