In Youth in Government, high school students research and write policies in advance for this convention. They are then divided into six committees. This year, NFA presented policies in the Economic, State, Environmental, and Social Committees.

Balmville students wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Month on October 15th with an exciting school wide assembly full of music, dance, and learning!

Our NFA Main Campus students celebrated Hispanic culture, danced to various Spanish genres, and ate delicious food from many different Hispanic countries. The event was a success!

The session included information on ENL units and instructional hours, levels of study, testing standards and schedules, reading level expectations, and strategies for parent involvement.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our school welcomed a wonderful group of guest readers who shared stories that reflected the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures.
