The Earth Science Lab Practical Exam will be held at NFA North Campus (301 N. Robinson Ave., Newburgh). Students should report to the South Cafeteria to take the exam. Transportation is provided.

SAVE THE DATE | School is Cool: A Back to School Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 11am - 2pm at the Board of Education (124 Grand Street).

Newburgh Free Academy celebrated its 160th commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 26th, 2025. After a brief ceremony, graduates walked across Academy Field before turning their tassels and tossing their caps to celebrate this milestone achievement.

The Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, July 17th at 5pm in the Board of Education Auditorium, located at 124 Grand Street in Newburgh. The meeting can also be streamed live or viewed via recording later.

Throughout the program, students engaged in learning about the dangers of drug abuse and ways to resist peer pressure, culminating in writing essays that summarized their key takeaways and personal reflections.

Families, teachers, and friends gathered to honor our youngest learners as they completed their first big year of school. The children sang songs, shared what they learned, and beamed with pride as they received their diplomas on stage.
