Newburgh Free Academy celebrated its 161st commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 25th, 2026. Of the 636 graduates, 20% of the high school class graduated with High Honors.

As we enjoy the summer recess, I would like to remind our students and families of an important initiative designed to help sustain student learning and advance our district’s ongoing literacy goals.

This Friday we will have Open Gym, Karaoke, Gaming, Silent Disco, and Open Swim (for those students who passed the swim assessment)

Members of our community are happy to share that we are chartering a SEPTSA unit in our school district.

As our nation commemorates America 250, students across the NECSD are reflecting on the enduring ideals of the Declaration of Independence and what they mean for our community today.

Children must be present to receive a meal. Meals must be consumed on premise. Menu subject to change based on availability of products.
