NFA BBTC Performed Student Run: A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court
The Before Broadway Theater Company at Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus presented A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Black Box Theatre. The production was entirely student run, with a little help from Ms. Fay Pacht, Theatre Arts Educator / Drama Director at Newburgh Free Academy, Main Campus.

From the Director, Annie Reid:
Being the director of this play was truly an experience. Throughout the whole creation, construction, and building of this play, I struggled. We struggled. It wasn’t easy, but it was so, so worth it. I am so fortunate to be working with these wonderfully gifted classmates of mine. I’m fortunate for the help and assistance of Mrs. Pacht throughout the hard parts of the play that I didn’t completely understand myself. These cast members have worked so hard and have accomplished so much in the single month we had to produce this production. I feel I could not have picked a better team to play A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court. So, although I struggled; we struggled, it was most definitely worth it. Thank you for coming to see our show.
The production was based on the story by Mark Twain and adapted by Tim Kelly, performed with permission from Pioneer Drama Service, Inc.
