Meadow Hill Scholars celebrate Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Our 1st grade students celebrated Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) by learning about this beautiful cultural tradition of honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed away. Together, they created a special ofrenda (altar) in their hallway, filled with meaningful decorations and memories to celebrate the lives of those who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
We are so proud of our students for embracing this tradition and learning the importance of remembering, honoring, and celebrating our loved ones.
A special thank you to our 1st grade teachers: Mrs. Montenegro, Mrs. Schoenherr, Mrs. Cross, Ms. Short, and Ms. Camelleri for making this meaningful experience possible!
