NFA Seniors Take the Next Step: Instant College Admissions!

NFA Main Campus School Counselors hosted an Instant College Admission Event, providing 93 seniors with the opportunity to meet individually with a college admissions counselor and receive their college acceptance on the spot!

Students also had the opportunity to connect with NFA graduate, EOP Success Coach and Counselor, Mr. Leal, who shared valuable information about the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and the many benefits it offers students pursuing higher education.

EOP is a New York State program offered through the State University of New York (SUNY) system. It is designed to support students who demonstrate the ability, motivation, and potential to succeed in college but may face financial challenges or need additional academic support. Through EOP, eligible students can access additional academic resources and  financial assistance.

Simply put, EOP provides an additional support system to help students access college, adjust to college life, overcome challenges, and successfully earn their degree.

It was an exciting and meaningful day for our seniors, providing them with an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone while learning about resources that can help make their college dreams a reality.

Congratulations to the Class of 2027 from your School Counselor! Your future is waiting, and we're excited to see where it takes you!
