NFA Alumni and Broadway and TV Actor Returns for Students

Chaundre Hall Broomfield (NFA Class of 2012) returned to spend time with NFA performing arts students, offering guidance on auditioning and navigating the entertainment industry. He coached students preparing for college auditions and NFA productions, sharing valuable industry insights and lessons. He discussed topics such as professional etiquette, preparation, and receiving feedback - skills that have helped him build his career. Since graduating from NFA, Chaundre has starred in Hamilton (Broadway and National Tour) as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, portrayed Taj Jordan in the BET+ drama series Kingdom Business, and played Marlon in Tyler Perry’s Netflix film Ruth & Boaz, among many other professional credits.

In addition to working with alumni Chaundre, Mike Pirillo (NFA Class of 2017) and Spencer Conti (Class of 2019) recently worked with students in our community, NFA performing arts students were visited by Briana Bene (Class of 2017), who shared insights from her career in modeling, acting, and music, and Nyssa Valerio (Class of 2021), who is currently working in film production.

We are incredibly proud of our alumni and grateful for their willingness to return, share their journeys, and inspire our current Goldbacks who have big dreams.
