Meadow Hill Scholars Thank Fire Fighters for Prevention Week Visits
As part of their Magnetic Literacy curriculum, our creative 1st graders were tasked with designing a mural that showed people working together to support their community.
The students in Mrs. Schoenherr’s, Mrs. Cross’, and Mrs. Montenegro’s classes decided to direct their gratitude right back to our local heroes—the fire department!
When firefighters visited Meadow Hill School for Fire Prevention Week, they were treated to a special surprise: seeing the stunning completed murals up close. The firefighters were deeply touched by the students' hard work, creativity, and thoughtful thank-you.
We are so proud of our young scholars for showing how literature, art, and community appreciation come together!
