Newburgh Free Academy hosted its annual Scholarship Night earlier this month. Nearly 100 scholarships, totaling more than $100,000 were given out at the event! Thank you to our scholarship sponsors who love and support our children in this meaningful way! 

The NFA Scholarship presentation event is one of the most prestigious of the year as we celebrate our high school seniors who exemplify our Goldback Standard and our community members who actively contribute to supporting our scholars. 

Many of these scholarships are in memory or honor of a loved one. Families share the characteristics and achievements of people they truly love. With this, they will also share how our students expressed some of those same qualities. Aside from the monetary component, these scholarships are personal. We hope each recipient and their family recognizes and appreciates just how special each award is, as we continue to be thankful to the alumni, family members, local organizations, and community members who consistently contribute to supporting the success of our scholars.
