Gardnertown Leadership Academy Hosts Inaugural Autism Awareness Walk
Gardnertown Leadership Academy proudly hosted its first annual Autism Awareness Walk to promote inclusion, acceptance, and kindness throughout the school community. Students and staff came together with posters, sidewalk chalk messages, and school spirit to raise awareness and celebrate the uniqueness of every learner. A special highlight of the event was the support of a community member who DJed alongside his son, who is autistic, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for all who attended. The event reflected GLA’s commitment to ensuring every student feels seen, valued, and supported as we continue to Grow, Lead, and Achieve together.
