This is a friendly reminder that Tuesday, April 14th is now a full day of school for all scholars and Wednesday, April 15th is now a 1/2 day of school for all scholars. (Tuesday, April 14th was previously a 1/2 for some students, but is now a full day for all students. This change was approved by the Board of Education at the February 25, 2026 BOE meeting. Wednesday, April 15th is now a 1/2 day for all students and a 1/2 Staff Development for all faculty and staff.)
APRIL 2026
Monday, March 30th - Friday, April 3rd | District Closed | Spring Recess
Wednesday, April 15th | 1/2 Day All Students; 1/2 Day Staff Development (1/2 day dismissal schedule*)
Tuesday, April 14th was previously a 1/2 for some students, but is now a full day for all students. This change was approved by the Board of Education at the February 25, 2026 BOE meeting.
*Dismissal times are approximate. Instructions provided by the individual school buildings should be followed. All students in grades Pre-K-2 and those who ride special transportation must be met by a responsible person (at least middle school or over) to be released from their school bus.
2025-2026 District Calendar Update
One printed wall calendar has been distributed to each family this fall in their backpacks. Families that would like to request an additional calendar should reach out to their child's school directly. Community members who would like to request a calendar should email Communications@necsd.net.
Add important school and district dates, including letter days, to your personal calendar by following these instructions.
