The Newburgh Enlarged City School District will be CLOSED, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, due to anticipated inclement weather.
Although accumulation is not expected to be significant, the forecast predicting a combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain throughout the morning travel times and standard half-day dismissal times, it is best to close out of an abundance of caution. The size of our district requires that three hours of both arrival and dismissal times are considered when making a decision of this kind.
This decision is being made with the safety of those who learn and work throughout our district in mind as our primary concern. Please take this day to stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the time with your families. We look forward to seeing everyone back in our hallways Wednesday.

El Distrito Escolar Ampliado de la Ciudad de Newburgh permanecerá CERRADO el martes 3 de marzo de 2026 debido al mal tiempo previsto.
Aunque no se espera una acumulación significativa, el pronóstico pronostica una combinación de nieve, aguanieve y lluvia helada durante los horarios de viaje de la mañana y la hora de salida habitual de medio día, por lo que es mejor cerrar por precaución. El tamaño de nuestro distrito requiere que se consideren tres horas de tiempo de llegada y salida al tomar una decisión de este tipo.
