NFA Alumus Returns to Inspire Fourth Graders
Jihad Morris, an NFA graduate and proud alumnus, visited classrooms at Balmville School and connected with our students. During his visit, he spoke about the importance of hard work, discipline, and dedication, encouraging students to stay motivated and persevere through challenges.
As a former football player and member of the track team, he shared his personal journey, including earning a full athletic scholarship to the University of Kentucky. He also spoke about his ongoing work advocating for the community through Blazing Athletic, an initiative focused on mentorship, leadership, and reaching children of all ages.
Experiences like this reinforce the importance of positive role models and representation. Our students were inspired by his message, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in the future.
