NFA Performs A Christmas Carol
Newburgh Free Academy students brought the timeless holiday classic A Christmas Carol to life with a captivating performance in the NFA Black Box Theater. The intimate setting allowed audiences to fully engage with the powerful storytelling, as students skillfully portrayed the transformation of Ebenezer Scrooge and the enduring themes of generosity, redemption, and hope that define this seasonal tale. Through strong performances, expressive staging, and thoughtful use of the space, the production showcased the depth of talent and dedication within NFA’s performing arts program.
Directed by Mrs. Kristina Morano, the production reflected careful artistry and a clear vision that highlighted both the tradition and relevance of Dickens’ classic. Under her guidance, students demonstrated confidence, collaboration, and a deep understanding of character and narrative, resulting in a meaningful theatrical experience for all who attended. The performance was a testament to the creativity, discipline, and passion of NFA’s student performers and the continued strength of the school’s arts education, bringing literacy to life.
