District Celebrates New Town of Newburgh Recreation Building
Congratulations to the Town of Newburgh on the recent ribbon cutting of the new Recreation Building at Chadwick Lake, a significant investment in opportunities for youth, families, and the broader community. The Newburgh Enlarged City School District was honored to be recognized for its partnership and use of space while the new facility was under construction, providing an alternate location for Town summer programs over the past two years.
Superintendent Dr. Jackielyn Manning-Campbell praised the new center, calling it “spectacular” and highlighting its impact on the community: “This new facility provides a welcoming and dynamic space where children and adults can come together for recreation, learning, and connection. It offers our children an amazing home where they can be safe, they can try different activities, they can make new friends, and they can build lasting memories for a lifetime.”
We extend our sincere congratulations to our friends and colleagues in the Town of Newburgh on this incredible achievement, which strengthens our shared commitment to supporting families and enriching our community.
