NFA Hosts 14 Orange County Districts for Annual Youth in Government Convention
Newburgh Free Academy Youth in Government Club hosted 14 Orange County schools and more than 300 students for a Youth in Government convention. This year, former NFA teacher and current Assemblyman Christopher Eachus provided a keynote address for the students.
This convention mimics the political party conventions that nominate politicians for the general election.
This year NFA students ran for Governor, Congress, Sheriff, State Assembly, District Attorney, Attorney General. State Senator, County Judge and County Clerk.
This is the 80th year that Youth in Government has been active in Orange County.
