Gardnertown Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Day
Gardnertown Leadership Academy celebrated Hispanic Heritage Day with a day full of culture, community, and connection!
Our celebration featured student mystery readers from NFA North, as well as administrators and staff from around the district, who visited classrooms to share stories highlighting Hispanic culture and heritage. Students enjoyed listening to engaging read-alouds and participating in discussions about diversity, pride, and leadership.
The day continued with a vibrant schoolwide assembly, where students experienced an interactive story and learned some lively merengue and salsa dance moves. The energy and excitement in the room reflected the spirit of learning and celebration that makes Gardnertown so special.
