GAMS Pre-K Parent Welcome Letter

Dear Pre-K Families,
Welcome to Pre-K at GAMS! We are so excited to begin this important journey with you and your child. I look forward to meeting you all and working together to make this a successful and joyful year of learning and growth.
Orientation Information
Orientation for all Pre-K students will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. To help manage group sizes, please attend based on your child's last name:
- Students with last names A–L: Orientation at 1:30 PM
- Students with last names M–Z: Orientation at 2:30 PM
First Day of School
The first official day of school is Thursday, September 4, 2025.
- Arrival Time: 9:15 AM
- Dismissal for walkers: Begins at 3:40 PM
Infinite Campus Access
Parents and guardians will have access to Infinite Campus to view your child’s attendance and teacher assignment. If you do not currently have access, please don’t worry—just contact our main office at 845-568-6730, and we will assist you.
Transportation Information
Bus information is available on the district website: www.newburghschools.org.
To access bus details, you will need your child’s ID number and Date of Birth.
Classroom Materials
A list of classroom materials can also be found on the district website under GAMS Pre-K.

Carta de Bienvenida a Padres de Pre-K de GAMS

Queridas familias de Pre-K,
¡Bienvenidos a Pre-K en GAMS! Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar este importante camino junto a ustedes y sus hijos. Espero conocerlos a todos y trabajar juntos para que este sea un año exitoso y lleno de alegría y aprendizaje.
Información sobre la Orientación
La orientación para todos los estudiantes de Pre-K se llevará a cabo el miércoles, 3 de septiembre de 2025. Para ayudar a organizar mejor los grupos, les pedimos asistir según el apellido del estudiante:
- Estudiantes con apellidos que comienzan con A–L: Orientación a las 1:30 PM
- Estudiantes con apellidos que comienzan con M–Z: Orientación a las 2:30 PM
Primer Día de Clases
El primer día oficial de clases será el jueves, 4 de septiembre de 2025.
- Hora de entrada: 9:15 AM
- La salida para los estudiantes que caminan comienza a las 3:40 PM
Acceso a Infinite Campus
Los padres y tutores tendrán acceso a Infinite Campus para ver la asistencia y el maestro/a asignado/a de su hijo/a.
Si aún no tiene acceso, no se preocupe—simplemente comuníquese con nuestra oficina principal al 845-568-6730 y le ayudaremos.
Información del Transporte Escolar
La información del autobús escolar está disponible en el sitio web del distrito: www.newburghschools.org.
Para acceder a los detalles del transporte, se necesitará el número de identificación del estudiante y la fecha de nacimiento.
