CALENDAR UPDATE | April 2024
This is a friendly reminder of important dates for March and a second update for April 2024. Monday, April 8, 2024 is now a 1/2 day for students, faculty, and staff. (All after school activities and events are canceled). This change was approved by the NECSD Board of Education at the Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, March 19th. This change was made in anticipation of a Solar Eclipse that will be partially viewable in our area. The safety of our scholars was at the forefront of this decision, as it is set to occur in our area at dismissal times. More information can be learned by visiting the NASA website.
Important Dates for MARCH 2024:
Monday, March 25th - Friday, March 29th - District Closed | Spring Recess
Important Dates for APRIL 2024:
Tuesday, April 2nd* - 1/2 day for all students; 1/2 day Superintendent's Conference Day (Presidential Primary) | 1/2 day dismissal schedule
Monday, April 8th** - 1/2 day for all students, faculty, and staff | 1/2 day dismissal schedule (All after school activities and events are canceled)
Wednesday, April 10th - District Closed | Religious Holiday
Friday, April 26th - 1/2 day for all students; 1/2 day Superintendent's Conference Day | 1/2 day dismissal schedule
*This change was approved by the NECSD Board of Education at the Regular Meeting held on Tuesday, February 27th. This change was made to accommodate the Presidential Primary that will be held in New York State on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, with some of our schools being utilized as polling sites.

Families should have received a colorful calendar in their child's backpack earlier this year! Calendars were distributed one per family to the youngest and only children of each household. If you need a calendar for your home, please contact your child's school building or email Communications@necsd.net.
