Twelve NECSD Students Audition for Countywide Festival

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, twelve music students from Heritage and South Middle Schools and Newburgh Free Academy Main Campus attended the OCMEA Jr. High All County Auditions at Warwick Valley Middle School. These students had to prepare and perform high-level musical excerpts from orchestral and choral literature for an accredited adjudicator. Their results will be compared with other music students (grades 7-9) from Orange County. The students listed below were accepted and will be invited to perform at the OCMEA Jr. High All County Music Festival in May.

Students were joined by their teachers Mr. Michael Hickey, Ms. Rebecca Clina, Mr. Rick Santacroce, and Ms. Monica Antonelli-Guido. 

We're thrilled to have these talented students representing NECSD at the Jr. High All County Festival on May 5-6, 2023 at Valley Central High School!
