Meadow Hill Students Learn the Power of Compliments!

Students in Ms. Kondas’ 3rd and 4th grade class in Meadow Hill (with teaching assistants - Mrs. Mennerich, Ms. Ferrari, and Mrs.Monroig) learned about the power of compliments. Students brainstormed different compliments that they could give someone. They then played 'musical compliments'. Each student wrote a compliment on a heart and then kept passing the heart until they wrote a different compliment to each classmate. Students shared their compliments with the class. One student shared how he 'received new compliments that no one has ever told him before and how it made him feel'. Students then discussed how giving and receiving compliments can make them feel better.
