Vails Gate Scholars Share their Presentations on Ecosystems

Scholars in Mrs. Kirkwood and Ms. Reyes classes shared their presentations of the ecosystems they have been studying according to the ARC Core Unit 2 curriculum. The 5th grade students at Vails Gate STEAM Academy were able to demonstrate their learning and understanding of their research in a collaborative environment.  The scholars gave an oral presentation based off of their written assignments that also match a scene that they created to depict their ecosystems installed on the classroom walls.  Mrs. Kirkwood teaches the 4/5 self contained 12:1:1 class and Ms. Reyes teaches the 5th grade dual language class.  As an additional component, Ms. Reyes' class created websites to match their research writing and presentations.
