Reminder! This week! Superintendent Search - Family & Community Forum Information

Hello NECSD families and community members! 

As many of you are probably aware, the Newburgh Enlarged City School District is engaged in a search for a new Superintendent.

The members of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District Board of Education are working with Hazard, Young, & Attea Associates to conduct an executive search for the district’s successor superintendent.  An important part of the search process involves listening to the ideas of community leaders and stakeholder groups in order to compile a Leadership Profile.  This Leadership Profile will include the characteristics desired in the next superintendent and will be published for use during the recruiting and interviewing process.  The information learned during these sessions will assist the members of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District Board of Education to make this important decision based on the values and concerns of our communities.

As an important member of our school community you are invited to participate in this conversation. The virtual meetings will be held on the dates and times listed below. The meetings will last about 30 minutes.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled meeting but would like to provide the School Board with input, we encourage you to provide this information on our survey which will open from March 4 - March 11, 2022. Click here to access that survey to provide your input.

¡Hola familias y miembros de la comunidad de NECSD!

Como muchos de ustedes probablemente saben, el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad Ampliada de Newburgh está buscando un nuevo Superintendente.

Los miembros de la Junta de Educación del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad Ampliada de Newburgh están trabajando con Hazard, Young y Attea Associates para realizar una búsqueda ejecutiva del superintendente sucesor del distrito. Una parte importante del proceso de búsqueda consiste en escuchar las ideas de los líderes comunitarios y grupos de partes interesadas para compilar un perfil de liderazgo.
