Kindergarten Registration Information - Now Available!

The NECSD Registration Department will be accepting Kindergarten Applications from February 14th - May 16th. The Kindergarten program is for children that meet the age requirement. Your child must be age five (5) on or before December 1, 2022. More information about the application process can be found on the Registration website in the Kindergarten section in the middle of the page.

If your child currently attends a Pre-K program within NECSD (this includes community based organizations), you will select a Kindergarten option via your Parent Portal account. If you need assistance with your Parent Portal account, please contact the Pre-K center. 

If your child is new to the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, you will register through the Registration website. Please write down your application # and keep it in a safe place to easily refer back to your application.

This is a lottery process, not first come, first served. Please make sure you read the document requirements through, so your registration is correct upon submission. You can begin your application, save your progress, and return as needed. Someone from the Registration team will contact you to complete your application in the spring.

El Departamento de Registro de NECSD aceptará solicitudes de ingreso al jardín de infantes del 14 de febrero al 16 de mayo. Si su hijo actualmente asiste a un programa de prekínder dentro de NECSD (esto incluye organizaciones comunitarias), seleccionará un jardín de infantes a través de su cuenta del Portal para padres. Si necesita ayuda con su cuenta del Portal de Padres, comuníquese con el centro de Pre-K.

Si su hijo es nuevo en el Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad Ampliada de Newburgh, se registrará a través del sitio web de registro. Anote el número de su solicitud y guárdelo en un lugar seguro para consultarlo fácilmente.

Este es un proceso de lotería, no por orden de llegada. Asegúrese de leer los requisitos del documento para que su registro sea correcto al momento de enviarlo. Puede comenzar su solicitud, guardar su progreso y regresar según sea necesario. Alguien del equipo de Registro se comunicará con usted para completar su solicitud en la primavera.
