Attention Meadow Hill Families

Dear Meadow Hill School scholars, families, faculty, and staff,

The safety of everyone who enters our school and district buildings remains a priority. It has come to our attention that there was a rumor of a threat against our school building circulating amongst our students. The administrative team along with district security and law enforcement quickly acted on the rumor that was being presented. The police were able to determine that there was no threat to the building at any time and all accusations were unfounded.   

We recognize that the vast majority of our scholars would never consider this behavior. We encourage our entire NECSD community to work together to support our scholars and our teachers to feel safe in our learning environment.

Please help us by reminding your child to speak to an adult if they ever see or hear of any threat to their school. It is through the work of all that we are able to love and support our scholars. Queridas familias de la escuela de Meadow Hill,

La seguridad de todos los que ingresan a los edificios de nuestra escuela y del distrito sigue siendo una prioridad. Nos ha llamado la atención que había un rumor de una amenaza contra nuestro edificio escolar que circulaba entre nuestros estudiantes. El equipo administrativo junto con la seguridad del distrito y las fuerzas del orden actuaron rápidamente sobre el rumor que se estaba presentando. La policía pudo determinar que no había ninguna amenaza para el edificio en ningún momento y que todas las acusaciones eran infundadas.

Reconocemos que la gran mayoría de nuestros académicos nunca consideraría este comportamiento. Alentamos a toda nuestra comunidad de NECSD a trabajar juntos para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes y maestros para que se sientan seguros en nuestro entorno de aprendizaje.

Ayúdenos a recordarle a su hijo que hable con un adulto si en algún momento ve o escucha alguna amenaza a su escuela. Es a través del trabajo de todos que podemos amar y apoyar a nuestros estudiantes.
