We need your input! American Rescue Plan Funding
The American Rescue Plan signed into law in March included $122 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country, which is the single largest investment in federal elementary and secondary education in the nation’s history. NECSD will apply to receive some of that additional funding.
NECSD is launching a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process to help determine how it should potentially spend additional federal dollars to address unfinished learning and COVID-19 recovery.
Since April, various advisory teams have assisted the district with determining recommendations for the use of these new federal stimulus.
TAKE THE SURVEY
All parents, district employees, students and community members are urged to complete a survey, at the links below, to help the district determine what to prioritize with the potential ESSER funds.
If you have questions regarding ESSER III, please contact Dr. Lynne Pampel, Director of Funded Programs: firstname.lastname@example.org
Anyone who desires to make a public comment during a Board Meeting regarding the ESSER III funds or the district's Plan are required to submit comments to the district clerk, Mr. Matthew McCoy no later than noon on or before the scheduled Board meeting.
