Newburgh Free Academy High Honors Recognition
Every year, Newburgh Free Academy recognizes High Honors scholars. This event is one of the most prestigious recognitions of our graduating scholars, highlighting those who exemplify the Goldback standard that we have in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. High Honors scholars are those who earned a grade point average above a 89.5. We have more than 150 scholars in this category, which is more than 20% of our graduating class. These scholars are smart, dedicated, and very talented. Our scholars don’t achieve High Honors by working hard in a single class or in a single year. Our scholars achieve High Honors by being focused, persistent, and courageous in their pursuit of knowledge throughout their entire academic career. Congratulations to our scholars and their families! We hope you enjoy this virtual presentation.
TEACHERS: Are you and your students doing something great? Please contact your Communication Strategist. We’d love to attend or post your pictures and recap to highlight the amazing accomplishments throughout our district!
