Due to the anticipated heat index for Friday, all outdoor activities have been cancelled for Friday. More information and locations to keep cool in the area can be found below.

City of Newburgh:
The City will extend the hours of the Aquatic Center at Delano Hitch Park on Friday 7/19 and Saturday 7/20 welcoming the public from 12:30 to 8:00 pm. Additionally a Cooling Center will be available at the Activities Center, 401 Washington Street during the same times. All residents are urged to take all precautions necessary during times of excessive heat; assist neighbors and pets, and direct any immediate requests for assistance to the Newburgh Fire Department at 562-1212 or the Newburgh Police Department at 561-3131.  

 

Newburgh Free Library:
Main Branch: 
Fridays, 9am - 5pm
Saturdays, 10am - 3pm
Town Branch:
Fridays, 10am - 6pm
Saturdays, 10am - 3pm

 

Town of New Windsor:
Marasco Community Center, New Windsor Town Hall Complex will be open from 10am - 5pm
