NFA Scholars Skype with Spain "Pals"

Scholars from NFA Spanish class, taught by Ms. Pilar Treus skyped with peers from Spain. This project takes being "pen pals" to a new level. Students began by emailing with a fellow student from the clas in Spain. Then, Skype sessions were set up through Ms. Melanie Larkin, Instructional Technology Facilitator (ITF). During the Skype Sessions, students took turns asking their "pal" questions. NFA students asked their questions and received answers in Spanish. The students from Spain posed their questions and received answers in English. 

When the did the last call that teacher had their local educational publication feature the Skype and NFA was on the cover of their publication in Spain. A screenshot can be found in the photos.
