Balmville Students Visit SUNY New Paltz for Campus Experience Tour
Balmville ENL 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students attended their third annual trip to SUNY New Paltz. Our students were given a full college tour, visited the Planetarium, had a meet and great with Dr. Rosenberg, Dean of Education. Having this opportunity to attend a campus visit is very critical to the process of choosing which college or university is right. A campus visit allows the student to experience the steps involved to get to the school, the people who work there, and the physical campus learning environments. Visiting the dorms, tasting the food, walking the campus—all these elements are critical to understanding process of looking ahead beyond Academy Field. Our ENL students will continue visiting two to three colleges each year giving them the opportunity to be exposed to several college visits before heading to Middle School.
TEACHERS: Are you and your students doing something great? Please contact your Communication Strategist.
