Heritage Middle School Families - Open House - October 4, 2018
October 4, 2018 - 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Dear Heritage Families,
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Open House this coming Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Once our parking lot is full, there will be additional parking at Temple Hill. Shuttle buses will be available at Temple Hill starting at 5:45PM. You can park at the Temple Hill School and buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 5:45 PM and running through 9:00 PM.
We will begin our evening in the gymnasium. At that time, we will share with you district and Heritage information as well as Title 1 funding that supports all of our students at Heritage. You will also be able to collect information about new expectations for all NYS schools. You will receive your child’s schedule and follow the Day A schedule.
Parents who have a student in Algebra 1 are invited to a presentation about APEX Tutorial at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. This information session will be presented by Mrs. Payne on behalf of ALL Algebra 1 students.
Open House is intended for parents/guardians to receive an overview of the curriculum, programs, and structure of the school in a group setting. Conferences will be held on Monday November 19 from 4:30-8:00 PM and Wednesday November 28 from 11:00-2:15 PM. Heritage will be participating in Student-Led Conferences for the 2nd year. Your child’s team will explain about SLC during their time with you and sign-ups for these conferences will be on-line coming soon.

- Period 1 – 6:35 p.m. – 6:50 p.m.
- (A-Day Schedule will be followed)
- Period 2 – 6:53 p.m. – 7:03 p.m.
- Period 3 – 7:06 p.m. – 7:16 p.m.
- Period 4 – 7:19 p.m. – 7:29 p.m.
- Period 5 – 7:32 p.m. – 7:42 p.m.
- Period 6 – 7:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Period 7 – 8:03 p.m. – 8:13 p.m.
- Period 8 – 8:16 p.m. – 8:26 p.m.
Please note that snacks and water will be available for purchase from our PTO throughout the building during the evening. All proceeds will go toward the PTO which supports many of our student activities and events.
