Temple Hill ENL Parent Informational Breakfast
Temple Hill Academy’s ENL (English as a New Language) teachers hosted an Informational Breakfast for families.
During the event, parents learned about the various Language Acquisition Programs available at both the school and district levels. The session included information on ENL units and instructional hours, levels of study, testing standards and schedules, reading level expectations, and strategies for parent involvement. Families also received details about local organizations that support continuing education for adults.
In addition, parents were introduced to the district’s learning opportunities, including Saturday Academy, Extended School Day Programs, and the Extended Year Program. They were also guided to resources available through the New York State Education Department’s Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages.
