Adult Education Program


We are excited to announce two new adult education programs in our district. They are designed to empower individuals seeking dynamic career opportunities. Starting this semester, we are introducing Security Guard and Auto Technician programs tailored for adults aged 21 and over, providing an incredible opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Security Guard Program:

Embark on a fulfilling journey toward a career in security services! Our comprehensive Security Guard program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the field. From risk assessment to emergency response strategies, you will undergo rigorous training to ensure you are prepared for the challenges and responsibilities of a security professional. Upon completion, you'll receive a New York State certification, opening doors to various employment opportunities in the security sector.

Security Guard Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm January 22, 2024 - March 20, 2024.

Auto Technician Program:

If you have a passion for automobiles and want to turn that passion into a rewarding career, our Auto Technician program is the perfect fit! Dive into hands-on training led by industry experts, covering everything from basic automotive systems to advanced diagnostics and repairs. This program is designed to prepare you for success in the auto industry. You'll earn a New York State certification upon completion, validating your skills as a certified Auto Technician. 

Auto Technology Dates:  Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm. January 22, 2024 - April 24, 2024.

Enrollment Requirements:

To enroll in these exciting programs, all you need is the drive to succeed! Applicants must be 21 years or older, without a high school diploma. Participation in an adult GED program is required and we will support enrollment in a GED program. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to make a positive change in their lives and pursue a fulfilling career.
