NWS Hosted Assemblies to Roll Out their PBIS program

On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, NWS hosted assemblies to roll out their building PBIS program. PBIS is a positive behavior program that rewards appropriate behaviors in school and sets building wide expectations for students. The New Windsor expectations are: Be Responsible, Respectful, Ready, and Safe. Students participated in an interactive presentation highlighting the expectations for all areas of the school, especially the bus, halls, and cafeteria. The PBIS program is facilitated by Kelly Caci (school psychologist), Mary Petruncola (music teacher), and Jason Michalek (school counselor). This year they were joined by interns Rebecca Webster and Jessica Porter. All of the scholar attendees followed the expectations well!
