NFA Graduation Ceremony | Cap Decorations Guidelines
Please take into consideration the following rules when decorating your graduation cap. Failure to follow these rules will result in a replacement cap being given to you during the Final Walk Across Academy Field event at your own cost.

The NFA Black History Club takes on the New York State Capitol!
The Black History Club sponsored a trip to Albany, NY to meet State officials and tour the Capitol building. We were hosted by Constituent Liaison, Ms. Jennifer Knox, a Newburgh native and NFA Alum.

Heritage Middle School Scholars Learn About Medieval Times
After the trip they wrote about their favorite parts of the trip, and what they learned. They also designed a castle on paper and then made it with Magna-tiles.

Summer LEGO Academy | Sign Up Information

CHEERLEADING CLINIC | NECSD Students Grades K-6
NFA Varsity Cheerleading will be hosting a cheer clinic FREE OF CHARGE to all NECSD students in grades K-6. The clinic will take place JULY 21-24, 2025, from 5-8PM every night at NFA North in the gymnasium.

Patria Latina Celebration at Meadow Hill School
This special event honors the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and contributions of Latin American countries, bringing students, staff, and families together in a joyful expression of unity and pride.

Horizons on the Hudson Hosts First Math and Movement Day!
Math Mats were placed around the school, with directions and materials posted next to the mats for kids to use all day long. The whole school participated, preK-5th graders, and had a blast learning math while using their whole bodies!

Horizons on the Hudson Hosts Publishing Party Picnic
The students of Ms. Jones, Ms. Batista, and Ms. Carlone's first grade classroom at Horizons were overjoyed to have their families engaged in our Publishing Party, which was geared toward our research project on Endangered Animals.

"Book Tasting" at Fostertown Sponsored by Starbucks and and Hannafords
The event was the culminating project for a course that encouraged collaboration between ENL teachers and librarians. The K-2 ENL students came to the library to participate in a variety of literacy and theme based stations.
