Reminder to all students:

There will be an informational meeting for the Varsity Crew Team on Tuesday, December 18th from 2:30-3:45 pm at NFA Main in the Eagles Nest.  This meeting is for new and returning rowers.  

Monday, Dec 17th, join the Sophomore Class for an afternoon of creating and having fun while you make "Holiday Creations".  Space is limited so sign up by Dec 12th with a Sophomore Class Council member. Admission: $5-.

Knock, Knock - Give a sock! Help keep little feet warm this winter by donating socks of any size.  All donations go to stock nurse’s offices across NECSD. Donation boxes can be found in the Health Office, Guidance, or see Mrs. Sileno.  This act of kindness is done in memory of Johnny Sileno. We will be collecting until December 21.

The Interact Club is doing a Holiday Drive for the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie.  Please donate teddy bears and jammies for children ages 5-15. Collection box is in the Main Lobby.  Let's bring holiday cheer and smiles! Donate now Teddy Bears and Jammies!

Friday, December 21st will be the Day of reading in the Library.  We provide hot cocoa and the students 'unplug' from technology and read!

The NFA Black History Club is hosting a Holiday Toy Drive for youngsters in the pediatric ward at St. Luke's Cornwall hospital until December 17th.  Unwrapped toy donations can be left in the receptacle box in the Main lobby at both main and north campuses.  Be a part of the magic!

"The Liberty Partnership representative will be in the Guidance Career Center on Wednesdays periods 4, 5 and 6 to meet with interested students during their cafeteria or study hall."

Anyone interested in joining Yearbook Committee, please sign up ASAP in Mr. Shust's office or with Ms. O'Neill in the Library.

Bus #28 on Roe Street at dismissal is the shuttle to NFA North for clubs and activities. Please speak with the teacher in charge of your club to obtain a bus pass. Bus passes will not be issued at dismissal.
