Local Scholarships

Local scholarships are those scholarships that are given to Senior NFA students only. These scholarships usually come from local community members or businesses. Each year and award ceremony is held where these scholarships are given out.  If you are interested in making a scholasrhip available to NFA Students please contact Melanie Roman at Melanie.Roman@necsd.net

Regional Scholarships

Regional scholarships are those scholarships that are available to numerous different school districts throughout either the Hudson Valley, or the country. Deadlines and application process varies for each different scholarship.

Given by the Newburgh Area Retired Teachers’ Association to a graduating senior who plans to enter the Teaching Profession. See your Counselor for an application.

6B Tuskegee Airmen Tuition Assistance Scholarship

Open to college bound seniors. Need based and community involvement. See your Counselor for an application.

41A Zeta Phi Beta Scholarship

Open to college bound seniors, qualified female African-American students, based on academics, leadership, community service, character and  financial need. See your Counselor for an application.

March 1, 2019
74A Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union Scholarship​

Open to college bound seniors who are a member of a participating New York Credit Union. See your Counselor for an application.

75A Long Island Interventions Behavior Health Scholarship​

Open to Seniors who will attend college or trade school. US citizen and NY resident. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
