Our NFA P-TECH scholars closed out Black History Month by celebrating Black brilliance in STEM. As we honored the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, we celebrated a century of legacy, leadership, and excellence.

Our NECSD My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Fellows traveled to the state capital to participate in the annual NYS MBK Stand & Deliver Symposium, a high-energy convening of young men of color from across New York State.

The Newburgh Gorhams were a premier semi-professional Black baseball team that called Newburgh, specifically "Benkard Heights," home during the era of the Negro Leagues.

History isn’t just something we find in textbooks; it is a living, breathing narrative that we shape every single day. As we reflect on our shared past, we must remember that Black history is American history.
