NECSD is proud to Welcome Dr. Madeline Diamond as the new Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources
Dr. Madeline Diamond will begin serving as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources beginning on August 24, 2026. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Human Resources in the Public Schools of the Tarrytown and the Director of Language Instructional Programming in the Peekskill City School District. Dr. Diamond is also a former ENL (English as a New Language) teacher and Instructional Coach.
Dr. Diamond received a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercy University, a Masters Degree from NYU, where she graduated with honors, a second Master’s from the College of St. Rose, and a Doctoral degree from Manhattanville University, where her research broke ground in leading with Emotional Intelligence during times of crisis.
Dr. Diamond has a personal passion for leadership development and is a certified life coach through the International Coaching Federation. Outside of her full-time position, she currently serves as a leadership coach for new leaders who oversee curriculum and language programming. As a first-generation immigrant and former English language learner, Dr. Diamond's other passion is supporting young women of color through mentorship and leadership programming, as well as mentoring aspiring educators of color. She is committed to the communities she serves and has a strong drive to inspire positive change within those communities.
