Members of our community are happy to share that we are chartering a Special Education Parent Teacher Student Association (SEPTSA) unit in our school district. Their mission is to strengthen partnerships between families and schools, share resources, promote inclusive schools and support the success of every student. This message is being sent as a courtesy on behalf of community members who are in the process of creating an association for members of our community. This initiative is not sponsored, endorsed, or officially operated by the school district.

At the meeting, our paid SEPTSA members will be asked to vote to approve our proposed bylaws and elect our board.  Please take a moment to review our attached bylaws, and email us with any questions.  Our proposed slate of officers is as follows:

President   Tracy Wallace

Secretary   Camille Forbes

Treasurer   Ashley Smith

We have two positions still vacant, Vice President and Corresponding Secretary.  If you are interested in running from the floor for these two positions, or to run against a slated officer, you must notify us in writing or your intention to run.  Please email us at necsd.septsanom@gmail.com. You must be a paid SEPTSA member to run for election.
