Secondary Grading Scale Conversion Chart
On September 22, 2020, NECSD approved a revised secondary (middle and high school) grading policy. Under the new policy, in-progress grades for scholars will be based on a 0-4 scale instead of the traditional 100 point scale.

Ms. Toback's Science Scholars Receive Kits for Remote Learning
Ms. AIleen Toback raised funding to provide science kits for each of her scholars to actively participate in lessons while learning remotely. Each scholar received a kit that included science supplies.

Jacob Johnston, 12th grade scholar at Newburgh Free Academy’s Main Campus is a semi-finalist for the 2021 National Merit Scholarship program. After graduating from Newburgh Free Academy, Jacob plans to attend college to study computer science.
